On 27th October 2020, the UK government increased the NHS Health Surcharge from £400 a year to £624 which is a huge increase.
This increase is very concerning as it not only affects immigrants but also British citizens who are family members of these immigrants.
This huge fee is in essence a stealth tax on visa applications as most immigrants are already paying their taxes and tend to be in very low paid jobs. It is very difficult for them to make ends meet but must find the resources to pay this stealth tax for themselves and often their spouse and/or children whose visas are also being renewed.
Bedrock Solicitors understands and sympathises with this situation as migrants are left with no choice but to find the resources to pay for the NHS health surcharge. We are therefore making an exception and will be accepting clients who wish to pay our fees by instalments.
We can arrange a payment plan to enable clients make payments by instalment.
